Our objectives:

  • To provide an up-to-date on basic and clinical research in epilepsy
  • A seminar on emerging AEDs
  • To provide a forum for national collaboration in epileptology research
  • Introduce new epileptologists on the Canadian Scene
  • Discussion on practical issues in managing epilepsy patients


Target audience:

This will be an excellent opportunity to meet fellow Canadian and international epileptologists, neuroscientists and trainees interested in the field of epilepsy, discuss common interests and concerns, develop collaborative projects and find out about the newest epilepsy treatments and discoveries. We expect more than 100 participants so early registration is recommended.

Registration for the meeting is done on-line only. Space is limited to 100 participants, so early registration is recommended.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

Registration fees for the scientific program fees cover admission to all sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, conference information packages.

Early bird registration (before august 2, 2009)

  • Members (including moderators) : 250$
  • Non-members: 450$
  • Trainee members: 175$
  • Speakers: 0$ (although speakers are exempt from registration fees for the scientific program, they should still register)
Regular registration (after august 2, 2009)
  • Members (including moderators): 300$
  • Non-members: 500$
  • Trainee members: 250$

The final deadline for registration is set for September 21, 2009

Please note that those who have not paid their dues for 2009 have to registrer as non-members. If you don’t remember if you have paid your dues, please contact our secretary-treasurer at d.nguyen@umontreal.ca
